With Musical Direction & Orchestrations by Eric Barnes, Choreography by Kristine Lewis and Costumes by Patricia Hibbert, I directed this delightful Professional non-Equity production.

Along with Artistic Director, Kristine Lewis as Choreographer we presented Fame Jr. for the first time for MTI.

Alice in Wonderland – The Musical – Kelsey Theatre, West Windsor, NJ

With costumes by Broadway’s David Toser and animal heads by TDF 2006 Award Winner, Martin Izquierdo, I directed a Professional non-Equity cast of 25 with a full pit orchestra for the 20 Minutes to Curtain Company.

Jamaica – Prince Music Theater, Philadelphia, PA

I wrote the newly Adapted Script for the 1957 Harold Arlen, Yip Harburg Broadway musical, “Jamaica”, originally starring Lena Horne.  With help from the Yip Harburg estate, I was allowed to use other Arlen and Harburg songs for this new production.

Chosen as a semi-finalist for the Samuel French Short Play Festival in NYC, it was produced by Manhattan Playwrights Inc., in whose production I also appeared.

Putting Out the Fire – Catholic Hospitals East, St. Francis Medical Center, NJ 

With a Grant from the Robert Wood Foundation, I was twice commissioned to write and direct A Dramatization to Help Healthcare Workers Respond to Victims of Abuse, performed for the Nurses’ Day celebration.

Director – Drama Department (2005 – 2008) 

Bye, Bye Birdie, Fiorello! & Annie – Bristol Borough High School, Bristol, PA

For three years I created a Budget, hired the Musical Director, Choreographer, Stage Manager, Tech Director, Lighting Designer, Costume Designer and Pit Orchestra. I created the I.P.O.D.S. (I’m a Parent Of a Drama Student) booster organization to help with fundraising and set construction. I had a stage extension and an orchestra baffle built to help with the sound quality in the auditorium.  I designed the sets and directed three musicals.

As Director I hired the Production Team, oversaw the Budget, had all the lighting instruments repaired, taught the Tech Crew how to build flats correctly, designed the sets and directed two musicals.

Tied to the Tracks – Carl Sandburg Middle School, Langhorne, PA 

For this middle school musical I blocked the show, rehearsed the musical numbers and dramatically coached the lead actors.

I taught a Musical Comedy Master Class for Young Teens which culminated in a Musical Revue.
